Preparation and Printing: In the first step, place the desired design on the area where you’ll apply the DTF transfer. Smooth out any wrinkles on the garment if needed. Then, determine the appropriate heat settings for the garment type and press the transfer accordingly.
Cold Peel: After allowing the transfer to cool, carefully peel off the film, ensuring the printed image comes off smoothly. If the transfer hasn’t adhered to the garment as desired, you have the option to apply heat pressure again to make adjustments.
Second Press: Cover the transferred image with parchment paper, kraft paper, or a Teflon cover sheet and press it with heat for an additional duration. This step enhances the durability of the transfer.
Final Press and Washing Instructions: Lastly, place parchment paper or a shirt material over the design and press it for an extra 15 seconds. If a glossy finish is desired, use a protective layer in the final press. When washing the garment, turn it inside out, wash in cold water, and either air dry or tumble dry on low heat.
